Welcome to Weekah.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Weekah website and matchmaking service.

By creating an account or using Weekah, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use Weekah.

1. About Weekah

Weekah is an online matchmaking service designed to connect adults based on compatibility.

Weekah is not a dating agency, marriage agency, background-check service, identity-verification service or personal-safety service.

Weekah provides technological matchmaking services only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Weekah.

By registering, you confirm that:

you are 18 or older;
you are legally capable of entering into the agreement;
the information you provide is truthful and not intentionally misleading;
you are creating the account for yourself.

Weekah may suspend or terminate accounts where it reasonably believes these requirements are not satisfied.

3. Account

You are responsible for:

maintaining the confidentiality of your account;
protecting your login credentials;
providing accurate information;
notifying Weekah of unauthorised account access.

You must not:

create multiple fraudulent accounts;
impersonate another person;
use another person's Instagram account;
use bots or automated systems to manipulate the service;
attempt to circumvent verification mechanisms.

4. Instagram verification

Weekah may require verification of control over an Instagram account.

Verification is intended to reduce fake accounts and automated abuse.

It does not constitute:

government identity verification;
criminal background verification;
verification of personal claims;
verification of relationship status;
a guarantee of authenticity or safety.

Weekah does not guarantee the accuracy of information contained on Instagram.

Instagram is operated independently by Meta.

Your use of Instagram is subject to Meta's own terms and policies.

5. Your content and information

You remain responsible for information you provide to Weekah.

You agree not to provide:

deliberately false information;
another person's personal information without lawful authority;
illegal content;
threatening content;
abusive or discriminatory content;
sexually explicit content where not requested;
content intended to harass, exploit or harm another person.

Weekah may remove information or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users or comply with law.

6. The matchmaking service

Weekah provides compatibility-based matchmaking.

The service may consider:

age;
gender;
preferences;
relationship intentions;
questionnaire responses;
compatibility criteria;
other information supplied by you.

Matching is generated using an algorithm and may involve automated processing.

A compatibility percentage is an estimate generated by the system.

It is not a scientific measurement of compatibility and does not constitute a guarantee of relationship success.

7. No guarantee of matches

Weekah does not guarantee:

that you will receive three matches;
that your matches will respond;
that a match will contact you;
that you will meet anyone;
that a match will be compatible in practice;
that a relationship will result.

The number of available users may vary from week to week.

Weekah may provide credits or alternative remedies where described by the service at the time of purchase.

8. Weekly matching

Weekah may operate weekly matching sessions.

The schedule may change due to:

maintenance;
technical problems;
insufficient eligible users;
fraud prevention;
safety concerns;
operational reasons;
legal requirements.

Weekah will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes where appropriate.

9. Contact between users

Weekah does not provide an internal messaging service as part of the current service.

Where Weekah provides an Instagram handle to a match, communication occurs outside Weekah and is governed by the third-party platform's terms.

You are solely responsible for deciding whether to contact another person.

You should exercise appropriate caution before sharing personal information or meeting anyone offline.

10. User safety

Weekah cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, behaviour or safety of another user.

You should:

protect your personal information;
avoid sending money to strangers;
avoid sharing passwords or authentication codes;
consider using public places for first meetings;
tell someone you trust about your plans;
take appropriate precautions when communicating with strangers.

Weekah does not conduct criminal background checks unless expressly stated otherwise.

11. Prohibited conduct

You must not use Weekah to:

harass another person;
stalk another person;
threaten another person;
impersonate another person;
commit fraud;
solicit money;
engage in scams;
distribute malware;
attempt unauthorised access;
scrape the service;
reverse engineer the service except where permitted by mandatory law;
manipulate matching results;
create fake accounts;
use automated bots without permission;
exploit or abuse another user;
engage in unlawful activity.

12. Intellectual property

The Weekah website, branding, software, design, graphics, text, algorithms, interfaces and other materials are owned by or licensed to Weekah unless otherwise indicated.

You may use the service only for its intended personal purpose.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, reverse engineer or commercially exploit Weekah's proprietary materials except where permitted by law.

13. Availability

Weekah aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The service may occasionally be unavailable because of:

maintenance;
updates;
infrastructure failures;
cybersecurity incidents;
third-party provider outages;
force majeure;
circumstances beyond Weekah's reasonable control.

14. Suspension and termination

Weekah may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of:

violation of these Terms;
fraud;
abuse;
security concerns;
illegal activity;
impersonation;
manipulation of the service;
risk to other users;
legal requirements.

Where required by applicable law, users will receive appropriate information concerning the reason for restrictions or termination.

You may delete your account at any time through the available account functionality or by contacting Weekah.

15. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weekah does not guarantee:

the accuracy of user-provided information;
the accuracy of Instagram information;
the identity of users;
the intentions of users;
the safety of users;
the success of a match;
the success of a relationship;
the accuracy of compatibility scores.

The service is provided as a technological matchmaking service.

16. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Subject to mandatory legal rights, Weekah will not be responsible for:

interactions between users;
communications occurring outside Weekah;
meetings between users;
conduct of users;
information published on Instagram;
third-party platform failures;
losses caused by a user's violation of these Terms.

Users remain responsible for their own decisions and conduct.

17. Third-party services

Weekah may integrate with third-party services including payment providers, email providers, hosting providers and social-media platforms.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Weekah is not responsible for third-party services to the extent permitted by law.

18. Privacy

Your use of Weekah is also governed by the Weekah Privacy Policy: weekah.com/privacy.

19. Cookies

Weekah's use of cookies and similar technologies is described in the Cookie Policy: weekah.com/cookies.

20. Governing law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Weekah's establishment, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable to users in their country of residence.

Nothing in these Terms deprives consumers of protections granted by mandatory laws of their country of habitual residence where such protections apply.

If Weekah is established in Spain, Spanish law will generally govern the contractual relationship, subject to mandatory provisions of applicable EU and national consumer law.

21. Dispute resolution

We encourage users to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve complaints informally.

Complaints may be submitted to hello@weekah.com.

Consumers may also have rights to use applicable alternative dispute-resolution mechanisms or competent courts under applicable national and European law.

Nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory rights to bring proceedings before a competent court.

22. Changes to these Terms

Weekah may update these Terms when reasonably necessary.

Material changes will be communicated where required by law.

Continued use of the service following the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance only where legally valid and after any required notice or consent.
